2010′s Call of Duty: Black Ops (CoD: BO) was obviously a milestone in the history of the video gaming industry. As of last reporting, product sales for CoD: BO has surpassed the billion dollar mark in worldwide sales and it has sold 13.7 million games in america alone. With a community of gamers hungry for new material, all eyes are turning towards the next launch from the powerhouse IP, hence an unexpected interest in June 7-9th and the 2011′s Electronic Gaming Expo.

It is already noted that Activision is going to announce the enhancement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at E3. Nonetheless, not much is identified as to what the newest game will actually include. The freshest missive from “the inside” based on the rumor mill would be that the subject of MW3 may be the skull-faced Ghost from Modern Warfare 2 in a new prequel environment. Unfortunately, Activision has managed to keep things tight-lipped, as that was the only spurt which has come out.

Until the news release comes out, the well of questions continues to build pressure. How will they find a way to keep gameplay balanced whereas still making a fresh experience? Have they regarded the hotly debated Second Wind perk to be too cheap to bring back, or are they going to stand by it? Would zombies make a comeback for the 3rd time, or will they finally get their own spin-off title? Just how long before the 1st video of a hilarious tomahawk kill hits the web this time around? No matter the answer, June cannot come soon enough.
